Iris es también una artista en Cake Design y le apasiona la cocina. En este tiempo de pandemia, que ha traído cambios, desafíos y nuevos retos, Iris se reinventa y utiliza su tiempo lejos de los escenarios, para crear Joyas únicas hechas a mano donde encuentra una inmensa satisfacción. Así comienza su “Pequeño Negocio”(Small Business)

By Irism is a BIPOC / Latinx owned store located in Pembroke Pines, Florida.  Iris Martínez (founder)  has more than 30 years of experience in the music industry as a background vocalist for national and international artists. In recent years, she recorded a solo album titled “Vivencias”, based on her life experiences and the importance of her faith.

 

Iris is also a baker and has a passion for cooking. She began baking /decorating cakes and cooking at an early age and continues to enjoy expressing her creative talents through food.

 

The pandemic has brought drastic changes and new challenges for everyone. Iris has taken this difficult time away from the stage and turned it into a creative outlet by creating unique handmade jewelry at home. This is where By Irism was born.
